Students and faculty are welcome to attend.

Environmental Integrity Project and Workers United are organizing around the Wheelabrator (BRESCO) waste-to-energy incinerator in Baltimore. EIP is trying to hold BRESCO to higher environmental standards under the Clean Air Act, and Workers United is working on source reduction to reduce the waste stream that goes into incineration. The class is GES/HAPP 429/629 (Seminar in Geography of Health and Disease).
