Earth Month

In celebration of Earth Day 2024, UMBC is home to the first ever month-long, student-led, campus wide event celebrating our planet and those who call it home! Earth Month 2024 presents a unique opportunity for the entire UMBC community, including students, faculty, staff, partners, and the surrounding community, to come together and champion environmental stewardship. Participating in campus-wide activities for Earth Month is of paramount importance and serves as a powerful educational platform. It provides a real-world context for students and faculty to apply classroom knowledge, fostering a deeper understanding of environmental issues. It also underscores the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration, a cornerstone of holistic problem-solving in today’s world.
