Electronic Waste

All campus electronic waste (e-waste) is recyclable! Recycling e-waste at UMBC is easy:

1. Place a work order with Facilities asking for the student workforce to pick up your department’s e-waste. If the e-waste is inventoried and tagged, select “Inventory Disposal” on the ReADY system. If the e-waste is NOT inventoried and tagged, select “Setup & Moving” on the ReADY system.
2. E-Waste items should be intact and should not have any materials leaking from them. If this occurs, please contact UMBC’s ESH Department.
