Grab a friend, or a coworker and come walk or run on what should be a beautiful early spring day! Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in the Male, Female, Faculty/Staff categories.
UMBC Recreation’s Earth Day 3k Run is a great way to get active and connect with the UMBC community! This event aims to highlight the importance of earth month while also being a great opportunity to get some exercise in. There will also be a free water bottle giveaway while supplies last! Walk-up registration begins at 11:00 AM and will continue until 12:00 PM. We will start the race at 12:15 PM. This event is open to both the UMBC community and nearby residents. Following the event, there will be a social gathering including refreshments and a chance to learn more about earth sciences and environmental awareness. Grab a friend and come on out to this great event!
