Turn Down Tuesdays
Turn down for what?...Energy conservation!
When you leave a room, even if just for a little bit, turn off the lights!
Lighting accounts for 31% of electricity use on campus; this number can be lowered by the simple flip of a switch when leaving a room unattended, whether in residential buildings or in buildings on Academic Row.
Don't feel strange for turning off the light when you're the last one leaving a classroom, you're saving energy and preventing an unoccupied room from staying lit, possibly all day if not night!
