Eco Info Session

If you are applying to join the eco-ambassador team, we recommend you attend the information session from 6 to 7pm. 

We'll have an interactive discussion with sustainability interns, returning eco-ambassadors, and the sustainability coordinator. We will review the upcoming required Eco-Ambassadors Training Retreat, campus sustainability, environmental action, and promotion strategies. Ask questions, see the office space, and join in the conversation! 

Eco-Ambassadors promote a sustainable culture on campus by educating and motivating students to reduce their carbon footprint, conserve energy, and reduce waste. Eco-ambassadors also raise awareness about environmental issues, UMBC's Climate Action Plan and emissions reductions efforts. They support and promote the work of student organizations as well as UMBC departments and committees related to UMBC's ecological footprint.
