Plastic Film Recycling Is Available On Campus!
Have an excess of plastic grocery bags, Amazon mailers, packing pillows, or other single use, filmy plastics that cant go in our regular recycling? Help keep them out of the landfill by bringing them to our Plastic Film recycling bins on campus! Located across campus in ResHalls, Academic Buildings, and more, this special stream of recycling is readily available and convenient for drop offs.
Have an extra large collection? Email our office staff at sustainability@umbc.edu to organize a pickup of your plastic film. You may also bring it straight to our Grounds Shop for collection.
