Stage 2 of a day of site seeing in the city's wilderness: We have arranged to have a one hour tour focusing on the nature artwork and sustainable trails led by Heide Grundmann, a board member of Friends of Gwynns Falls Leakin Park.
Stage 3 of a trip to have its own Facebook album: After the tour we'll have a picnic (please bring your own food).
Stage 4 of a nature/city adventure: We'll have a chance to explore the Orianda House (a nineteenth- century country mansion), The Carrie Murray Nature Center (snakes, owls, and other rescued animals!), their community garden, and good old fashioned nature.
We need people to volunteer to drive who have cars. If you can, please e-mail me, Emily Bernstein, emilyb2@umbc.edu and let me know. If you have any questions feel free to e-mail me too!
