Turn Down Tuesdays
Turn down for what?.. Thanksgiving!
Are you going home this Thanksgiving? If leaving an on campus residency for the break, remember to unplug all unnecessary appliances, unplug all lights, chargers, etc., and set the thermostat to heat at a MAXIMUM temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. Not only do the above things save energy, but they eliminate any potential fire hazards.
If driving somewhere this holiday, drive carefully, and carpool with family or friends if you can; or take public transportation if possible.
Gobble your way to sustainability this holiday, and remember to only take what you can eat, a lot of resources went into making that decision plate full of food!
