Hey all!
Thank you to everyone who stopped by at Involvement Fest! Our first weekly meeting of the semester will be on MONDAY, February 13th (woo-hoo!)
MEETING ROOM/TIME:
Monday 12-1 PM in Math/Psych 103
MEETING INFO:
- We will discuss our hiking trip!
- We will start planning Ecofest
- We will go over Ecofest and Retriever Treasure committees
- We will talk about our upcoming fundraisers at Potbelly's and Panera
We organize service events on and off campus, like stream clean-ups and tree plantings. We also hold group bonding events, like our hiking trip on Saturday, February 18th. For more information, stop by our meeting!
We love to celebrate our love for our planet by visiting the zoo and aquarium, going to rallies and marches and tabling at events. We also hold Ecofest over the Spring semester. It is a week-long celebration centered around Earth Day, surrounded by great food, music, documentaries and awesome people! We also try to reduce waste on and off-campus by holding Retriever Treasure, a non-profit program where we collect donated goods and sell them back to the community at very affordable prices. All profits help sustain the project. We need YOUR help to hold these events and make our planet a better place!
