Join sustainability policy experts and practitioners for an examination of Baltimore’s efforts to become a more sustainable city, with an emphasis on the networks of government, for-profit and nonprofit organizations that have developed around a city’s sustainability goals. Our speakers are: Eric Zeemering, Associate Professor, Department of Public Administration, Northern Illinois University and author of the book Collaborative Strategies for Sustainable Cities: Economy, Environment, and Community in Baltimore, Alice Kennedy, Sustainability Coordinator for the City of Baltimore, and Tom Sadowski, President and CEO of the Economic Alliance of Greater Baltimore.
