UMBC's Office of Sustainability welcomes you to a special webinar on environmental justice mapping and data. This session is designed to be an introduction to the leading federal and state environmental justice (EJ) tools. Participants will learn the differences between the tools, what the various metrics mean and how to utilize them within the context of Maryland's Climate Solutions Now Act. Additionally, the webinar will begin with a brief introduction about the importance of environmental justice and inclusion of frontline communities by Ms. Jacqueline Patterson, Founder and Executive Director of the Chisholm Legacy Project: A Resource Hub for Black Frontline Climate Justice Leadership.
