UMBC reaffrims commitment to Climate Action

UMBC resigns "We are Still In Pledge"

UMBC reaffirmed its commitment to Climate Action by resigning Second Nature's "We Are Still In" Pledge. UMBC is one of 410 college and universities, representing over 4 million students, supporting climate action. 

Second Nature created the "We are Still in Pledge" in 2017 and helped coordinate a statement on behalf of governors, mayors, CEO’s and college and university leaders declaring that, despite the federal government’s decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement, the nation remains committed to climate action.
