Community Screening: The Story of Plastic

We are very excited to announce that IMET will be hosting a virtual screening of The Story of Plastic. This documentary is a personal favorite for our office!

Event Description:

As IMET kicks off their virtual series, they invite you to join a screening of The Story of Plastic. This movie takes a sweeping look at the man-made crisis of plastic pollution and the worldwide effect it has on the health of our planet and the people who inhabit it. The Story of Plastic features interviews with experts and activists on the front lines of the fight, revealing the disastrous consequences of the flood of plastic smothering ecosystems and poisoning communities around the world, and the global movement that is rising up in response.

Attendees will receive a link to stream the film from the event host 48 hours prior to the event. The link will be delivered to you at the email address you used to RSVP. Then we will all reconvene after the film on Webex for a panel discussion. You will receive a separate link for that event alongside the streaming link.
