2020 Baltimore Environmental Conference

Call for proposals closes Friday 12/13!

The deadline to submit proposals for the 2020 Environmental Conference at Towson University is speedily approaching, with the forms closing Friday, December 13, 2019!

The Conference, taking place on Thursday, April 16 and Friday, April 17, 2020, will highlight career, research, leadership and advocacy opportunities across a wide spectrum of environmental and sustainability focus areas.

This event would not be possible without a wide array of experiences, perspective, knowledge, and voices. Because of this, we invite faculty, staff, students and community members to not only register to attend the conference, but also submit a presentation or research poster proposal! We still have a few spots open and love to hear what YOU are working on!

We are seeking research posters and 50-minute breakout presentations/workshops on a wide range of environmental topics to include research, policy, student leadership, and activism. We are especially interested in presentations that:

-          highlight a professional skill or tool (e.g., GIS)

-          identify effective solutions to particular environmental problems

-          showcases a student-led initiative regarding sustainability education, engagement, advocacy and/or leadership development

-          and/or provide an overview of research relevant to local, national, or global environmental problems.

The deadline to submit a session proposal is Friday, December 13, 2019.
