EcoFest: Celebrate Earth Day all week!

Come out to celebrate earth day all week with Students for Environmental Awareness (SEA) from April 16th-April 20th.

Here is just a quick overview of the events Students for Environmental Awareness have planned:

EcoFest Kick-Off: Mon 12-2 pm on Commons Main Street- Make crafts & learn about going zero waste! 

Garden Service Event: Tues 2:30-4pm in the Garden- Volunteer at UMBC's Community Garden & plant veggies! 

Greenfest: Wed 11am-2pm on Erickson Field: On and off campus orgs celebrate earth day with games, live entertainment, and much more!

Zero Waste Discussion: Thurs 7:30-9pm in Bio Lecture Hall- Week long Zero Waste challenge: join students in attempting to zero waste for a week and discuss challenges faced in reducing our waste and pose potential solutions for minimizing the waste we generate.

Campus Stream Cleanup: Friday 3pm-5pm meet at the Yum Shoppe- Join the Environmental Task Force for their weekly clean up of streams, woods, and trail at UMBC- collecting litter and removing invasive species that threaten trees and wildlife.
