Ali Tokay receives AMS Editor's Award
Dr. Ali Tokay, JCET-UMBC (Joint Center for Earth System Technology and a Department of Geography & Environmental Systems Affiliated Faculty Member) received the American Meteorological Society (AMS) Editor's Award for his contribution to the Journal of Applied Meteorology and Climatology "for frequent and in-depth reviews of manuscripts related to precipitation microphysics and estimation, and remote sensing using radar".The award was presented by Roger Wakimoto, 2017 AMS President-Elect, during 98th AMS annual meeting (January 2018) in Austin, Texas
