Celebrating Sustainability: Harvest Fest, Vote, Compete!

October 8, 2018 3:57 PM

October is "Campus Sustainability Month"!

Harvest Fest

Each fall we celebrate campus sustainability with Harvest Fest! We'll have giveaways, apples, pumpkins, food, and giveaways alongside our many campus partners- departments and groups that help make the campus more sustainable!

Monday, October 29th from 11am to 1pm on Commons Mainstreet!

Eco Champions from across campus can help you get involved- whether you are interested in volunteering with campus stream clean ups, the community garden, or finding ways to improve your environmental footprint- maybe learning how to recycle and compost on campus, how to conserve energy, or want help with finding a carpool, the bike share, shuttle buses, and more! Stop by and get some fall treats!

EcoChallenge is a fun and social way to take measurable action on the issues you care about. Take the challenge, and see how three weeks of learning and action can add up to a lifetime of positive change for you, your community, and the planet! Join the UMBC Sustainability  team:
