The Office of Sustainability has been actively organizing events to spark engagement and educate students about sustainability practices and invasive species management. Our aim is to empower those who are able to attend our events to live and promote a more sustainable future.
Retriever Root-up
On April 26th, 2024. We hosted our first Retriever Root-Up event with the assistance of the Eco-Ambassadors, Baltimore Tool Bank, and UMBC ResLife. We all worked together to create a fun interactive that over 80 students came out to attend and collected over 1,000 Lbs in invasive materials.
