In lieu of the Environmental Conference this year, Towson University is the proud Maryland host of Solve Climate by 2030. This event is free and open to the public, UMBC students, staff, and faculty are encourage to join this community discussion!

Solve Climate by 2030 is an international project of the Graduate Programs in Sustainability at Bard College. On April 7, 2021, university and high school students across the planet will tune into 100 same-day events in fifty countries. These university-hosted regional webinars will cover a topic that is critical to their futures: how an ambitious Green Recovery based in state and local action can put us on the way to solving climate change by 2030.

Climate-concerned university and high school faculty worldwide, and across disciplines, will #MakeClimateaClass, assigning these webinars as homework, and using them as a springboard for discussing regional climate solutions, energy justice, and a Green Recovery. 

Please join TU for a webinar and community discussion about what “Green Recovery, Climate Solutions, and a Just Transition” could look like in the state of Maryland, featuring:
