E-Information Session for Eco-Ambassadors

Please join the Office of Sustainability for an online information and Q&A session about becoming an Eco-Ambassador!

What does an Eco-Ambassador do? 

• Share resources and information to inspire fellow students about how and live more sustainable on campus and reduce your carbon footprint
• Collaborate with UMBC staff and faculty to devise and implement improvements for a more sustainable campus 

• Bolster your resume with service leadership 
• Join a team devoted to improving and helping the campus and the environment
• Develop professional experience and public speaking skills 
• 3-5 hours a week taking action and helping the community 
• Make connections and gain support to turn your ideas into action 
• Earn $250 per semester

What's the schedule for next year's Eco-Ambassadors?

• Applications open in August
• Interviews conducted the first week of September
• Eco-Ambassadors start the second week of September
